Discogs Digger — Privacy Policy

How the Discogs Digger browser extension handles your data.

Last updated  10 June 2026

Discogs Digger (“the extension”) is a browser extension that adds a dark theme and optional collector tools to the discogs.com website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and we keep data handling to the absolute minimum required for the extension to work.

Summary

The extension does not collect, log, sell, or transmit your personal information or your browsing activity to us. We run no servers of our own for the extension’s features, and your settings stay in your browser.

Information we store

Information we do not collect

Network requests the extension makes

To power certain features, the extension contacts the services below. None of these requests include your personal information, login, or any identifying data, and no Discogs account, API key, or personal token is ever used:

Payments (optional “Pro” upgrade)

The extension’s advanced features can be unlocked with an optional paid upgrade. Payments are handled entirely by ExtensionPay, which processes the transaction through Stripe. ExtensionPay and Stripe collect the e‑mail address and payment details needed to complete your purchase, under their own privacy policies. The extension itself only reads back whether your account is “paid” — we never receive or store your full payment details.

Data retention & control

Your preferences remain in your browser until you remove the extension or clear its storage. Uninstalling the extension deletes its locally stored settings.

Children

The extension is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the extension evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date above.
